George Bates, Creative Director

George Bates provides the creative vision and direction behind nearly all Third Wing projects. George has more than 15 years of experience in branding and integrated marketing communication strategies, blending unique competitive differentiation and clearly articulated messaging with world-class design.

Prior to combining forces with Third Wing, George ran his own consulting firm, where he partnered with clients to provide them a virtual core competency in branding and marketing communications.

George’s professional history in marketing team leadership includes his roles as Vice President of Marketing for FastChannel Network, an advertising services firm now part of publicly traded DG (NASDAQ: DGIT), Vice President of Marketing for The Yankee Group, the global technology and communications research firm, and Vice President of Marketing for IT Consulting at the former Renaissance Worldwide, a publicly traded global technology consulting firm.

George holds a Journalism degree from Boston University and a graduate degree from the University of Massachusetts.

He is an admitted “foodie” and a confirmed “dog guy” as his two adopted English Yellow Labs will attest.
